Our Journey
DG Marketing & Consulting was born from both lived experience and a deep desire to change the narrative.
After years spent working inside the beauty industry — behind the chair, in classrooms, on stages, and inside brand teams — we saw a pattern. Minority-owned and purpose-driven brands had powerful products, passionate founders, and incredible stories, but were too often overlooked or underserved when it came to strategy, marketing, and brand clarity.
They didn’t need hype.
They needed someone who understood the culture, spoke their language, and could help them build with purpose.
So we created a space just for them.

Founder & Chief Brand Strategist

With 17 years of beauty industry expertise and a sharp marketing mind, DeAndra Giselle helps purpose-driven brands rise above the noise and grow with intention. As the founder of DG Marketing & Consulting, she partners with minority-owned beauty, self-care, and lifestyle companies—along with brands determined to do things differently—to craft strategies that connect deeply, convert consistently, and leave a lasting impact.
Her career began in the salon, where she built a loyal clientele and worked alongside top beauty brands as an educator and brand ambassador. She later brought her talent for storytelling and strategy into the corporate marketing space, earning her MBA in Marketing from Pepperdine University and launching DG Marketing & Consulting to merge both worlds—industry insight and business acumen.
At DG Marketing, DeAndra leads with a strategy-first, culturally smart, and story-driven approach, guiding clients through everything from brand positioning and campaign development to messaging that resonates across channels. Her work is rooted in one belief: when a brand leads with purpose, the right people listen, engage, and stay loyal.
When she’s not shaping brand narratives, you can find her mentoring emerging entrepreneurs, speaking at industry events, or leading worship at her church—always bringing the same passion for connection and authenticity that fuels her work.
Alisha Garcia
Operations & Client Experience Manager
Alisha Garcia brings over 14 years of leadership experience to DG Marketing & Consulting, including a distinguished career at Kaiser Permanente, where she led high-performing teams, streamlined workflows, and managed special projects to enhance the client and patient experience. With a background in membership resolution, education and training, and operational efficiency, she has developed a reputation for precision, process improvement, and results-driven leadership.
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, Alisha combines strategic thinking with a sharp attention to detail to ensure projects run seamlessly from start to finish. At DG Marketing, she not only keeps operations running smoothly but also creates a high-touch client experience that ensures every engagement feels seamless, personalized, and impactful.
